Iconic dawn

An essential journey at first light enabled this view of the dormant city skyline with its extinct volcano, Arthur’s Seat. In pre-Covid days this journey, at this time of day took an hour - today just 15 minutes. The downside of that rapid journey this morning is all the commerce that has had to retreat online or strive to survive on furlough. Further Covid restrictions apply to us all in Scotland from Saturday.
