Hand made

I bought several of these and gave one to Susan this evening, which she loved. The handmade paper is made in Nepal from the bark of Daphnea Cannebina or Daphnea Papyracca called "Lokta" in Nepali, and it is often known as "Lokta paper" internationally. Handmade Lokta paper has a unique texture; it is a pure pleasure to write and draw on, even just to touch.

She is as taken with its beauty as I am. I love lovely paper products - and I love having her home. It's such a pleasure and a real treat to come home to her smile and chat about her day. Today she had the fire on and the sitting room was so toasty!! Bliss!!
