Edinburgh Botanic Gardens

No more hills today - decided to 'take it easy' and booked a slot to go over and visit Edinburgh Botanic Gardens (thankfully, still one of the few places actually open in the City!) ...

... and we were very lucky with the weather: main snap shows the famous Herbaceous Border - I really liked the long, clear lines in this picture; especially set against the cloud formations above.

And a couple of interesting extras - 1st one shows the giant 'Golden Monkey' at Inverleith House, which you can read more about here! 2nd one shows The Botanic Cottage, which was originally built in 1764 (on the other side of town!) and moved to its current location in 2016 -  you can read a bit more about it here.
