Siskin ( Spinus spinus )

Another Siskin I am afraid.  A busy day with not a lot else to blip.  I had a choice between this and a Woodpigeon.

My excuse for blipping a Siskin again is there was a hundred percent increase today!  I saw two at the same time.  We have been almost a year without Siskins and suddenly they reappear.  I am beginning to think the local ones moved away and this winter we got no winter visitors.   Then the UK population may be moving north again and so suddenly they are back.  I may be wrong but it's the best theory I have.
