Crows Nest Post Office

Classic Queensland weatherboard in the village square. Currently being restored and repainted hence the recently blowtorched look and taped off stair.

A workman was parked out front with a giant red ‘P’ on the back of his truck ( the symbol of Australia Post). We sat there for about ten minutes waiting for him to carry it across the footpath to complete the shot. Then he got back in his truck and drove off! Must have forgotten his hammer!

For younger viewers, the funny cubicle on the street is a ‘pay phone’. I only know that ‘cos the Silverback told me.
