At last

Today the world was freed and a star was born - Amanda Gorman - and what a star. I hope she and her generation can put an end to the last four years of hate and lies.

The warmer weather now means the snow is coming off the roof. As it is somewhat dangerous, Angie did help it with a broom and even a ladder. I wasn't impressed when she told me about the ladder!

She is particularly concerned about our red cat, Jerry who has gone blind but is very active outdoors around buildings. He can orientate himself on the walls. It's heartbreaking to watch, but he gets around incredibly well. Sissy, his same litter Sibling, normally enjoys sitting on the green bench watching the world go by.

Spectacular evening walk and got home just in time to see the dawn of a new era. We will be brave, Amanda.
