A Brown Beauty

We awoke to cloudy skies and rain. We decided to go to a 1 p.m. movie. Skyfall. It was hanging on at the 2 dollar movie theatre.

What we didn't know was that it was 50 cent Tuesday. 50 cents to get in...a dollar for a small drink...and a dollar for a small popcorn. WOO-HOO!! The problem? The very long line to get in was filled with senior citizens. Where did they all come from?

Good movie, although I guess you get what you pay for. Sound system poor...had to strain to hear. Plus...we had a guy 2 rows back that wouldn't quit hacking. The nerve.

Spent the last 2 hours of daylight at the seashore. Diving pelicans, and a cute snowy egret. In the end...I had to go with my favorite bird. The snowy egret made the FLICKR PAGE...along with more pelicans, and a couple shots of the ocean.

Nothing like watching, and listening to the waves roll in. Like sweet music to the ears.
