A Wee Bit of Snow!

Wow..I think we had our snow of the season this afternoon! It was beautiful - we so rarely have snow that falling flakes are a sight to see. It really was a bunch of slush on the ground, but it did accumulate a bit on the plants and grass. So I very very carefully stepped outside and grabbed an iPhone photo of this lovely hellebore wearing a slushy cap of snow.

A very busy day with the botanical garden. Yesterday's site visit created a lot of excitement and we needed to update the rest of the team today. We're really looking at two sites now...with the idea that we'll have a full on botanical garden the golf course site, and an interpretive site with perhaps some education on the Superfund site. It's all starting to come together!
