In Every Nook And Cranny

Snow gets in everywhere.

The contrast of rough and smooth attracted me to this scene, along with the knurl in the bottom left and the diagonal slant of the stump. I can feel it toppling over.

I had to engage with a foreground branch and negotiate a way through to capture the shot because I wanted to get in quite close to emphasize the grain.
