Birds at the Point

Thursday, Mike’s birthday today :) We decided to treat ourselves to a take away from Crofters to celebrate.
We went down to the Point first and decided against going for a walk as it was cold, blowy and rainy. We were lucky to see a male Eider duck and a pair of long tailed ducks. This shag or cormorant ( I find it hard to tell the difference) likes sitting at the end of the wall.
Down to Crofters after to pick up our dinner. We waited in the car while they cooked it and they brought it out when it was ready. It was nice sitting in the car listening to the waves while we waited.
Back home to eat it in the warm. We’ll celebrate abit more tomorrow with a take away afternoon tea :)
