Mum's Marmalade

A brilliant  day for news of Mum. She's  up and scoffing food like a good 'un, and at 91 has finally got her vaccine.
 There does seem to be a bit of a mess regarding  who's  getting it and when.  Lots of "Fake news". We were told at the weekend, ( by someone who says he's  in the know), the mass vaccination  centres would be closed for two weeks due to lack of vaccine. Some areas 65year olds have had it and Mum in sheltered housing has just got it.
Family members, retired medics, have applied to be vaccinators and they haven't  been accepted. Their details lost and reapplied, to be called by someone who didn't  know they were Drs. Bit of a shambles NHS. The Astrazenica vaccine  today is being hailed as the way out of this mess. I hope people  don't  think we can run before we can walk, but unfortunately  I think we know they will.


Today's  blip is Marmalade, just like Mum used to make. First time I've  made it from scratch. Really  satisfying as we love the stuff.
