No bowling today

Or for the foreseeable. 

A driechhorrible spell of weather continues. Star was u impressed  when I dragged her out for her training  walk today.  She didn't  put a paw wrong the whole way, but that was probably  so she could get back to her new role as Firegaurd in front of the stove. Can't  blame her really as she didn't  have 4 layers, scarf, hat, hood and gloves on with the added waterproof  trousers. I looked a right specimen. Did I care? 

Caldo Verde for lunch and the last of the sponge to look forward to for afternoon  tea. It's  not all bad.

Oh and I forgot  to say, last nights dinner  was my first ever Rack of lamb with garlic and Rosemary, accompanied  by Scalloped  potatoes, (a recipe I got in Canada in 1980).
Tonight a step down in the culinary high life to sausage casserole.
