Thursday: Witch Hazel

Sky was pink and red when I got up this morning and I thought we’d get rain but for once our luck was in!
Mild and pleasant enough all day to do a spot of gardening.
Spent an hour or so cutting back the Itea  - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2741396162903805161 - which was blocking my little path, took about a dozen cuttings and the long branches went in the green bin.
Spent the afternoon reading, all that fresh air took its toll.
When I was washing the dishes this evening I heard the geese flying towards the beach, went outside but unable to see them but quite a number by their calls.
