Today's the day …………………….. for a spring in the step

Such a different sort of a day today from that of late - with sunshine and clouds scudding across the sky that even had a bit of blue in it.  And I know that there is all sorts of dire stuff forecast for next week, but just for a while, everything seemed to have a spring in the step.

These two horses were 'horsing about' in the sunshine.  Just before I took this picture, the one with the coat had been rolling about in the grass, hooves in the air.  They were obviously feeling quite spritely and glad to be out and about.

And since the end of that rugby match this afternoon between England and Scotland at Twickenham, resulting in a win for Scotland to end the 38-year curse - I've had a bit of a spring in the step myself ………………..!
