A day in Rome...the colosseum

I am slowly editing the photos from Rome....
Oh and this combo made me very happy :-) We had such a great day here - spent most of the day at the colosseum and the forum - had a fantastic tour of both. Daniel especially loved the history.

We had pizza for lunch and the some of the best pasta I have ever tasted that evening. We walked and walked, ate amazing pastries and ice cream, relaxed in the hotel and watched a film....oh and had a coffee and fresh pineapple at a wonderful cafe on top of the tomb of the unknown soldier with a perfect view of the colosseum. i will treasure the memory of this day :-) They can drive me crazy at times but when it comes down to it- I love spending time with them - they are such great people :-)
