Mission Accomplished

A quick stop at Talyllyn as Mum and I headed home after our trip out of the country for her Covid vaccination.    In the foreground the lake is frozen over - see extra pic.   A beautiful day for a drive and everything went very smoothly with the vaccination centre fairly quiet after their first week rush last week.   Nice too to have time to chat, we probably spent more time together today than in the whole of last year, even though we've been living so close for almost six months.

Jamie and Tim walked Meg in my absence and a delicious evening meal awaited my return.   Fierce easterly winds howl outside, once again funnelled through the mountains.   A change in the weather promised, although the cold, bright weather has been lovely, I'll be glad to see the end of these winds.
