On a Grey Day
A fix of crocuses to lift the spirits. These seed raised Crocus rujanensis (pale lilac normally) have clearly crossed with Crocus sieberi (white with Purple marked outer petals,) needed a bit of indoor warmth to open the flowers. It's been cold and windy with the grey today.
A sluggish day, matching the uninspiring weather. Not much of consequence done apart from a little food shopping for Jamie and Ruth. This afternoon I cleaned up my photo downloads, deleting a good number, naming the files I am keeping. A back-up is due. This evening, an outing to Jamie's to call 111 for advice on a flare up of his Asthma cough. While we waited for the call back he cooked up Shakshouka, a North-African/Middle Eastern meal of eggs cooked in a spicy sauce with tomatoes and peppers. Tasty!
