Reflection study

Ditto yesterday!  Just couldn't tear myself away this morning so I stayed another day, and another stunner of a day it was too.  Took a walk along the beach mid-afternoon and became fascinated by the ripple effects that were produced as the water ebbed in and out of small pools.  Great to be able to immerse myself in a subject that surprised me.  What a wonderful way to spend an hour or two.

The extra is a very l-o-n-g shot (400mm + 2x converter hence low quality) of Whakaari - White Island who has steadily puffed her way through the day.  I'm quite surprised at just how much steam she produces.
