when you’ve got Shugborough?

My car said it was above freezing. It lied. I was colder than last year when we went to Kirkenes in Northern Norway. 

I got a ticket for first entry time at Shugborough. The gardens were stripped, everywhere was bleak. 

But they’ve worked hard. They’ve opened up a few new areas, including the East Annex Garden where they’ve found all sorts of stuff. They’ve commissioned archaeologists to research. 

I’d love to volunteer but I’ve no skills and I’d be at the back of the queue.
