Bubbles

We slept reasonably well, didn't wake until 8.40am :-) Still pretty windy today, but not wuitevso cold.....the block of ice I flipped out of the birdbath a couple of days ago has all but melted finally!

Breakfast in bed whilst watching the cricket.... a bit of a disaster after the first test :-/

We were downstairs before 11.....a toss up between jigsaw then coffee or vice versa, coffee won! We both got in the car and drove to Costa, hub actually said this morning that he felt "normal" today :-)) We got our usuals and sat in the car to enjoy them.......its the little things at the moment :-)

Back home in time for hub to keep tabs on his team, whilst I put a few pieces into the puzzle!
Hub wasnt happy with the outcome :-(. We had sausage & egg on toast for lunch......then it was my turn to be disappointed by my team... just awful, a loss to a bottom 3 team, not good enough :-/

Once Id finished being tortured I went upstairs in disgust, to finish the ironing off lol.
I also found a few things to donate for a cancer charity bag that has been put through the door, collection tomorrow. We were only saying today, how we seem to be noticing so much more all the adverts and appeals, not sure if there are actually more...... personally I think so, or its just that with our situation now, we pay more attention :-/

We have had a lovely treat for dinner this evening, a little nod to Valentines......fillet steak, mushrooms, vine tomatoes, petit pois & jacket potato & our first foray into alcohol post diagnosis.....a glass of fizz with a raspberry, as you can see, it all went down rather well :-))

It has been a good day, the new normal hopefully, me thinks :-)

Currently watching Countryfile......not sure what else, my be something weve downloaded :-)
