Buying time

An iffy night for both of us.....constantly waking up, so not the brightest buttons this morning, but we're ok.

Breakfast in bed watching the cricket. Not looking good for England.....:-/

Once we were up we decided to get out as it was bright, sunny and so much milder. First stop was you know where ;-). on e refreshed we drove to the local Retail Park to collect a package......our mantel clock gave up,the ghost recently so Imordered a new one on line from Next, which I am really pleased with....so an easy blip today!

After we had collected it the plan was to go home and have a late brunch, but hub said he had gone off the idea and fancied chicken lol, so we ended up at the nearby KFC drive thru, he was a happy bunny ;-) see extra lol

Once back home we went straight out for a walk around the little lake, which has finally started to thaw, the ducks are happy ;-)

Hub continues to feel pretty good....as you can see lol. Long may it continue. We are determined to make the most of things, despite the lockdown limitations.

I spent an hour on the jigsaw......its coming along, whilst hub watched osme horse racing on tv. Just listened to the PM, the vaccination programme is still going great guns. Pleasing to hear the uptake is so high.

Dinner tonight is going to be what was our earlier planned brunch;-)

No idea whats on tv tonight.....am sure we will find something to keep is occupied.
