The Transformation....

Here is one of our hydrangeas in its autumn garb. It is a very small plant and had only two trusses of flowers so far. The flowers were a delicate shade of pink. There was a brief program on TV recently. It focused on the resurgence of interest in hydrangeas. They have become very popular in New Zealand in recent years. Glynn Church became very well known as a hydrangea breeder and some glorious plants in amazing colours and forms became available for New Zealand gardeners.
