Beyond the Bridge….

The water levels are dropping quite rapidly following the recent heavy rain. The river water is clearing as well. This is the view from the Burleigh Bridge looking upstream to the south-west early this morning. The topography of the river bed is quite different to the more contained flow downstream. The upstream river flows meander across a wide shingle bed. We had a busy day. I took our little seal point Birman cat, Amelia and Maisie to the vet this morning. Maisie had her ears checked. They are finally free from fungus… for the moment. She had her vaccination for Kennel Cough. . Amelia had her right eye checked out . She has a tear duct that doesn’t function well 100% of the time. She also had her annual vaccination. . We love our vet staff….. they are always so helpful.
