Ju came over to have a quick look at the house and go for a walk. We walked to to town for a coffee ( another very good one) and then drove to Holme Pierrepont hall to see the snowdrops. It was only about 20 mins drive - down a very muddy and potholed lane though! Beautiful swathes of snowdrops all through the woods but also really liked this courtyard garden. Walked into town again for batteries after she had left . There was an amazing murmuration of starlings on the way home/ thousands of them
