BUA D047 Dinasours

My back is still too sore to do anything involving bending, very annoying today as the weather was great for getting a start at the allotment. Hopefully the Allotment Police are still being Covid generous.

Instead we went for a longer than planned walk to see the Crystal Palace dinasours. I remember going to see them with my Pops when my brother and I were tiny and I've always loved them. I was quite excited when I realised they aren't that far away.

The dinasours themselves are Victorian and are incredibly anatomically incorrect. They were pretty much based on the sculpters imagination and a few fossils. There's been a big fund raising effort in recent years to restore them and some are looking better than others.
