Today's the day ……………………. to catch a wave

So wild, wet and windy here, that I would have been happy not to set a foot outside at all today.

But Will said it would do me good to get some fresh air(!) - so we headed off to the coast where we knew the tide would be high.  What's more, the wind was from the south, so it was blowing a real hoolie out there, and whipping up the waves into proper surf.

The most encouraging thing about this picture though, is the fact that it was taken after 5pm.  So that means that, even on a dark and dismal day, there's still enough light out there to make the camera work.

And things can only get better from hereon in  ………………….!
