Birthday Chocs

I had a go at making birthday chocs for new dog walking friend Cathie. They included trued and tested pistachio, ginger and honeycomb plus some new experiments with chilli and lemon. I shall await the a report back.

Floodwater has gone down almost completely so we were able to do a big loop through fields (carefully sticking to the edges, heeding pleas from farmers for walkers not to damage crops) and back along the Electric Mile. There was one dip where the water was mud-shin. No problem fir us with our boots but we bumped into two girls running - one turned out to be Josh’s friend, and they decided to just run on through as it was a warm day?-,the dogs were very excited by the splashing and yelps and everyone we met was lovely and chatty (at a distance).

Josh and I have been watching Richard Osman’s House of Games which is lots of gentle fun and competing against each other - the loser has to buy beer. So far I am the champ!
