Midwife Calling!

Time for our daily exercise which we had on the West Sands at St Andrews. We had headed for the "kite zone". There are less dogs taking their owners for a walk, so social distancing is easily achieved.

The figure in the thumbnail is Pat who is receiving a Messenger call from our family midwife, Petra.

Petra on reading that we are on the beach, quickly sends a foto asking "if this is the beach?". (See extra).

Of course, it is and shows Petra taking a "selfie" with "yours truly" in the background.

Petra is expecting her first baby. A boy. Petra is sending all sorts of pictures and information about the "great grandchild" we can expect in about 2 months.

Of course, she is taking a motherly interest as well as a professional interest.

The number of honorary "great grandchildren" is growing rapidly.
