Pairing Up

It was really wonderful to see the sun today after such a wet weekend.
A few tidying jobs in the garden couldn't be ignored any longer and then, as  it was far too nice to stay at home, I drove to Hackney Marshes for some camera time.
There were  kingfishers flying around everywhere. I saw 3 different pairs.
The female that I've photographed regularly, was atop her favourite post. A male sat as close as he dared, calling to her. Several times they both flew into a tree near where I was standing.
