2021 Tuesday — San Simeon Cove

The San Simeon Cove on California’s Central Coast is where we walked our pups this afternoon. Few people were present; at least four elephant seals were lounging on the sand. The breeze was mild, but the air was warm.

Our Mitzi pup thought it was too warm, so we turned around halfway to the far end of the cove.

Then we stopped at the Hearst Ranch Winery with all the inviting blue umbrellas; across the street is the old one room school house with a field of yellow in the pasture and the Hearst Castle above it high on the hill.

So much to see and so worth seeing.
