Corner Shelf Still Life

There's some irony to the fact that I have nothing to offer for "Wild Wednesday." "Wild Weekend" would be so much easier. "Weary Wednesday" might be a better theme for the work week. Or maybe just "Things That Start With the Letter W Wednesday." 

In any case this was a very hard day to get a photo in. I finally just took a picture of this random stuff on a shelf in the corner. Funny how it looks ok after running it through the "Oil Effect" filter. I suspect most things do. 

As I look at it now it's a curious mix of the special and the mundane. The oldest thing is from over 20 years ago and the most recent is probably from summertime. Maybe next time I run out of ideas I'll take a picture of the smaller shelf above it. Now that one would be something to see!
