Farewell brunch with the Germans

Our German friends (these two gentlemen) are Martin’s hiking buddies and they kindly invited us, with their wives, to a scrumptious brunch at the W Hotel in Kowloon.

We sure were in for a treat. Haven’t been to a buffet for ages. I pigged out on smoked salmon, one of my fav things to eat, amongst a lot of other amazing foods.

We had a quick drink up at Civic Square at the Elements Mall, where we got some pics of the ICC, Hong Kong’s tallest building.

On our way back, Oliver wanted to continue the feasting with cigars and wine down at our park again, so off we went to enjoy some more time with them.

Very lovely indeed but now I’m knackered.

Really appreciating all our deep friendships and time with our friends. We leave richer for knowing that we have deep friendships and that we will see them again ...
