A bright welcome
It was wonderful to go out last night to eat, it felt quite surreal! I hope you all get the chance to do so soon (I also hope this 'opening up' doesn't give us a spike in infections which are currently very low).
A lovely, slow paced walk in the sunshine today. The shelters on this boulevard are decorated with bunting, welcoming signage and plants (many more out of shot). I don't know who does this.
The translation for the name of this area - Havre des Pas - is Haven of Footsteps. It was once a centre of shipbuilding and then a Victorian seaside resort. There is an outdoor bathing pool complex here and swimmers use it in all weathers - see extra:)
