Sun's Out
College today, for the first time after half-term, and my first 6:30am start for a couple of weeks. Fortunately the it was light by then, and gloriously sunny, which certainly helped.
Instead on the taught session, we covered the collective mistakes from our last assignment! On the day we're due to submit the second one.... It was useful, and I felt content that I'd managed to do what they had asked.
I always make porridge at 11:30 for breakfast, and that way I don't have to worry at lunch as this fills me up until we finish for the day. Earlier in the week I got my CoC back- it's the first part of the Certificate of Competence that we have to pass before we're fit to practice. Even though I thought it was a car crash, she gave me lots of good feedback and called it an excellent session.
When I was done for the day I went for a walk with Little B and mum and dad. We went along a path we'd never been too before, and Little B had a great time, yet at first refused all entry ways into the woods, resulting in me having to carry him and then put him down and see if he was prepared to go on!
I was up late finishing my assignment and managed to turn it in at 10pm, two hours before the deadline. A sense of relief that it's all done, but it's put me off doing the other bits this weekend....
