Hot chocolate

We're making the most of our last week of afternoon dog walks (we'll still have them, but a little more time-pressured no doubt). The request today was to go up to the woods and build a den.  Someone had already built one, so we did what we could to improve it. 

Youngest wasn't really feeling much love for schooling today, no point pushing him when he's in that frame of mind. The eldest had a good day and after a bit of an emotional weekend it did him good to have a couple of lessons. 

Today I'm grateful for: 
Waking up to hear the door clicking shut as the husband came home from walking the dog, followed by a cup of coffee delivered to the bedside table 
Lovely chat with my sister
Evening tea and chat with the husband - he's been out of the house for the day, we're not used to it!
