'Don't forget the robin'...
.. In an English Country Gar ar ar arden(*).
It's bitterly cold outside today. It's not stopping Himself doing some rockery building (he's intrepid).
I am not a Help in any way. I have been right off my perch with a bad back for a few weeks, but today I am feeling much better. Hoping it's all on the mend now. (I suspect a virus. In honesty I suspect a left- over/return hoorah from Covid but I never had it confirmed, so shall never know). All sympathy to bad backs everywhere, I have never suffered before and it's so debilitating.
In other, lighter, news I had a chat with one of the Elderlies (now in a Home). A hot drink and a couple of biscuits arrived during our telephone call. (Always a bit of a distraction).
E: 'The biscuits are... Guess what?'
Me: 'Are they Bourbons?' (Not a favourite, usually given away generously)
E: 'Nooo'...
Me: 'Are they Custard Creams?' (More popular, usually eaten)
E: 'Nooo'...
Me: 'Are they Chocolate Digestives?' (Never given away)
E: 'No. They are... Dunked with the drink'.
Ahh. 'Dunked'!
(Sometimes our conversations are like playing I-Spy with a three year old!)
(* Old song. Now an earworm for the rest of the evening. You're welcome).
