"Who Can Swim Faster?"

....Down at the Weir today, (not far from where I took yesterday's wedding blip) - lots of water birds, mainly egret, divers with many others, having fun searching out the fish and mainly in luck.

The Weir was in fine form today, water of all shades cascading down to the side to where all the waterbirds were waiting.

When they've had their fill, they sit on the top posts of the weir to dry out for a while then down they go again for another expedition into the murky waters stirred up due to the entire volume and pressure.

A small turtle was swimming not far from us - but it was far too quick to make it's presence seen for too long..

It's fun down at the Weir..so peaceful and therapeutic watching and listening to the sounds of the water flowing - and then on it's journey downstream...and out to sea eventually...
