Back to school...
I’ve been asked to take up the hems on two pairs of school trousers belonging to the grandson of friends. Granddad was once the manager at Colliers men’s tailors but has just undergone surgery for the removal of a kidney due to cancer. With the trousers came a large box of Milk Tray! . Also came memories of doing the same job on M and J’s trousers, allowing for the hems to be taken down probably within weeks.
Our neighbour notified us that she caught COVID during the week. I collected her Little Lady, a dachshund, from her porch this evening to take her for a walk. She kept looking for Debbie and certainly took the lead on the way home. She and I will walk again tomorrow.
A belated journal entry!
