Portobello Market

Frosty dawn. Welcome sunshine. Maximum visibility from the house in all directions.

The first Saturday of the month, apart from January, is Portobello Market day. The stalls were all on one side of the path today to enable effective social distancing. There is always a great community feel to this event.

Low tide at midday meant plenty of space for everyone on the beach. However, for the sea swimmers it was a long walk to the surf and even further to find enough depth to swim. The long safe sandy beach here is a wonderful asset.
