Sunrise, Sunset
Or in this case; sunset, sunrise because my camera app won’t let me flip the photos in the collage. It was in the 20s when I took the sunrise shot. Has been cold, windy but sunny all day. The team made a hearty breakfast of cinnamon roll waffles, homemade country sausage and scrambled eggs. The whole house smelled wonderful. Somehow, I broke a back tooth. Does the whole body fall apart when you near 70?? We had company from town and it was a great visit. There just aren’t many people up here. My hubby and I had to leave for Mass before they left but they understood. Afterwards, we decided to explore a new road, never again. It was a very winding, potholed dirt path on the side of the mountain with no guardrails. When I got brave enough to look out, I could not see the bottom of the ravine beside us. And we never found the Rousby Rock we were looking for. The house was spotless when we returned and it was just before sunset, perfect timing. Thought it would be fun to show the same location at sunset as I shot at sunrise rather than from the opposite direction. The ATV in the sunset shot is my sister and her hubby returning from getting her blip from around the ridge. We had another fabulous day. When COVID diminishes or you get your vaccines, invite friends over. We all desperately to need regain that feeling of “normal”. Thanks for the visits, comments and stars.
