Parting is Such Sweet Sorrow

This hellebore is going to be gorgeous when it blooms. Too bad only the birds and deer will get to enjoy it. Another momentous respite will soon end. We head home tomorrow morning. We had a sunny day but only got outside once or twice. Everything is packed except for our uneaten perishable food. Since they lose power here on a regular basis and the full house generator has failed to self start at least once, we empty the refrigerators and freezers to be safe. We’ll have most of the leftovers for dinner so our six coolers will be pretty empty for the return trip. Plan well when you make a lengthy trip. The get away will be stress free if you do.
