Remains of the Day

Another lovely Sunday lunch with Cecílio and Ermelinda. 

The day started off cold and misty, but at about 11, the sun emerged, so we set the table in the garden, and there we stayed, grey clouds overhead, raindrops falling and thunder rolling, with Ermelinda insisting it wasn't going to rain, until, in the end, even she gave in and we moved indoors for dessert, and coffee, and Drambuie and good conversation.

As usual when hosting a meal, forget to get a photo till it's all over...

Gratefuls:
- watching two of Deb and Cath's excellent Livestreams, 8:30 and 18:30
- a rainbow that went on and on
- good food and good friends and a good clearing-up partner
