My Boy

He arrived. For the third time of trying. This was on the ferry on the way back from Faro. We were the only passengers outside after the first waves splashed everyone; it was very windy all day.

Lent verses were Matthew 25v31-46, where Jesus says that when he finally arrives, all the nations will be arranged before him and he will sort the people out, much as a shepherd sorts out sheep and goats , according to whether they fed the hungry, gave a drink to the thirsty, a room to the homeless, clothes to the shivering, or visited the sick and those in prison. Again, feels so relevant to the current situation with Ukrainian refugees... and I wonder how Britain is doing on this score?? Portugal has already warmly welcomed several coachloads, mostly of those who have relatives here.
