I walked with a friend this morning. It was good to talk. Hopefully Covid restrictions will begin to ease here soon. We passed a Glasgow Rangers flag attached to a lamppost. Their jubilant supporters yesterday may have lengthened the lockdown for us all.

Later T and I walked through Portobello and came across an eye catching adornment to the drinking fountain in The Daisy Park. Full details can be found if you cannot read the note and inscription. I believe the yarn represents the removed intestine. I had no idea such controversy surrounds this memorial. I had never read the inscription on its north face before.

In the early evening I linked up with friends in Helsinki. The more I learn about their life in Finland the more attractive a place to live, in these fractured days, it seems to be.
