Took a car full of kids to church today (some were more enthusiastic than others - but at least they came!). Interesting theological discussion with No 1 when she got Parable and Parabola muddled up.
Education is wasted on the young!
This afternoon we all took a trip to a well known Swedish furniture retailer for lunch and storage 'essentials'. No 1 left a strongly worded letter of complaint because they no longer had Swedish Meatballs on the menu. It actually said 'we realise there may be Horse in the meatballs - but we don't care because they taste so good' and signed it 'Meatball lovers of the world.
I was just impressed that the spelling an punctuation was right!
Dropped my niece L back home and checked that her big brother S hadn't trashed the house before my sister and partner arrived back tonight. House was spotless ! I commented on how lovely and clean it all was. He replied 'Yeah, I know. I shouldn't have tried so hard' !
Bagged this little blip as they live nearby. This is a night view of the causeway to Cramond island. It was pitch black where I parked the car. But I felt safe enough as there were a fair few cars parked enjoying the view.
It must have been a warm night, because all their windows were steamed up!
P.S. Here's a link to the BBC Picture Gallery with my blip (sorry to harp on about it.....I shall never mention it again).
Thanks for all the blipday messages yesterday.. 5 * to all of you!
