Happy birthday No 1
Won't mention work today...just two words instead....mountains and molehills. Makes me glad I have only 3 weeks left.
16th Birthday for No 1. I remember the labour and delivery like it was yesterday. Could hardly forget it. I was induced 10 days late and just as the induction 'ceremony' finished - Mr S vomited all over me and the bed !
The staff told me I had to lie in it for 30 minutes - otherwise they would have to induce again (and believe me boys - you don't ask for that little procedure twice in the one night if you can help it! ).
Out for dinner with the Weegie brood. To the Hawes Inn at South Queensferry (right next to the Forth Bridges). Lovely place, story has it that R.L.Stevenson wrote some of 'Kidnapped' from here and there is a Hawes Inn that appears in the story. Very atmospheric place, oak beams, about 3 log fires and the food was rather good too.
Back late enough for No 3 and No 2 to start fighting in the car (someone's leg touch someone else's...you know how it is!). Sadly they are too tired to blow out No 1's candles tonight...we shall do so tomorrow.
No 1 was given a Ukulele ( a trendy teen toy) by her school friends....I think I can hear George Formby echoing from her room.
We had lots of fun taking blips under the bridges (before the fighting started!). Some funny ghost images on 10 second exposures. But I thought I would give you one of the Weegie family together. Sorry it's a bit grainy and blurry but camera was on the self timer, and the kids were pissing themselves laughing at me trying to get in the picture on time!
