Light Fittings

Although they just sit up on the ceiling and are seldom used they get dirty and occasionally need cleaning. Today is that occasionally day.
There are two light fittings, each with five lights. Each light is held in place with two tiny teeny weeny nuts, each of which have 2 tiny teeny weeny washers. All of these have to be removed to take each glass shade down.
To reach the lights it would have been sensible to use a step ladder. Therefore I used, at various points, a chair, a foot stool and the settee.
Activity Report
10 glass lamps , 20 tiny teeny weeny nuts and 40 tiny teeny weeny washers successfully removed. 10 glass lamps cleaned, washed and dried (not by me). 10 glass lamps 19 tiny teeny weeny nuts and 40 tiny teeny weeny washers reinstated. One tiny teeny weeny nut dropped, extensively searched for , finally located and reinstated.
Operation successfully completed. Now roll on March 2026, its always good to have something to look forward too.
Having done this I moved on to the chickens and the wooden bench that needed more paint stripping

PS I think my efforts were appreciated as I was given a surprise home made bacon lettuce and tomato sandwich for lunch. Result
