Timber

So, following on from yesterday’s Blip, today we again went down to our ‘in town department store’ to pick up the timber in the van.
As we were out and about we each grabbed a supermarket ‘meal deal’ to eat at the point. Although there were not many seagulls about it’s always good to let them see you enjoying a sandwich that they cannot get to!
Photographs never give you the true picture, although today’s doesn’t look it, it was pretty cold.

We came home, unloaded the van, and I built Sam her record deck/LP unit in about two hours. She seems happy but as it is currently, at her request, a plain sanded wood finish I fully expect it to change colour in the near future.

Today’s Blip Foto was taken at one of my favourite viewing points. When I worked I’d often sit here on the way home and just enjoy the view out over the Carrick Roads.
