Snow Day
Winter, it seems, is not quite done with us yet. I say that with disappointment because finally the ice on the lake had melted and we thought the dark days of winter were behind us. But no there is one more round to go.
When snow began to fall I was surprised because it arrived earlier in the day than I expected. Before too long it was blowing into my face, stinging my eyes.
I found a scene that had close detail and where the distant view was obscured by snow falling. I experimented with shutter speed to capture the floating flakes and was surprised by how fast I needed to go, raising iso accordingly, still wanting to keep a smallish aperture.
