Digging time!

It was chilly, but nice and sunny today and my vegetable garden has been calling for my attention for a good few weeks.. (I've managed to ignore it so far - too wet/frozen/cold/dark/flu/puppy/housework etc!)

Today, though I just wanted to be outdoors, working on the garden and managed to do so without jarring my shoulder (another reason I'd been putting it off!) and managed two of my six beds. One still has chard in, one has rhubarb and asparagus but the other two can be dug over tomorrow if it remains dry.

This year can the forecasters not announce a hosepipe ban just before the wettest summer on record???!!! I want to plant a full plot this year! ;-))
